On Sunday 20th March 2022 Falcon Frankie was out supporting Team-Daisy in their charitable game against Nine4Norah. The charity looks to support families that are effected by a sudden loss of a child as well as vital research across a number of organizations in relation to this area. Wayne Chalmers shares his story:

‘On October 11th 2018, at 7am, our 4th child, Daisy Chalmers, was born in the Snowdrop Suite at Northampton General Hospital. Despite being only 19 weeks and 5 days old, our beautiful little princess lived for an hour and 25 minutes before peacefully falling asleep in our arms. 

Throughout the painful journey, both before and after the birth, we have been supported by so many good people. From the midwives at NGH to the patience and care received from Tommy’s, SANDs and Children are Butterflies, every ounce of support has eased the pain just that little bit. Add into this the love shown by so many friends and family and you suddenly realize that there are people out there who care.

We as a family have made a promise that we will live our lives as a legacy to Daisy and try to help other families who find themselves in a similar situation.’

£1800 was raised on the day thanks to the outstanding efforts from all those individuals involved.
